Well …….story is pretty simple; I learned how to do something in art class in high school and thought I’d take it a step further. My teacher showed us the basics of etching glass and that’s all I needed. We learned with a technique using etching cream, which works well but after doing some research I learned of another method which in my eyes was better…..SANDBLASTING. So I bought a sandblaster and went at it.
The method is rather simple
1: Develop a design and print it out
2: Cover the glass with contact paper
3: Tape the design on the contact paper
4: Cut out the design into the contact paper
5: Sandblast the cut out area
6: Remove the contact paper
7: Clean the glass surface
